Quick and Easy High Protein Low Calorie Ice Cream Bar
Ice cream is mandatory in the summer no matter who you are. But we can choose what kind of ice cream we eat, and although frozen yogurt is a healthier alternative you may still go over your calories without hitting your protein goals. That why I decided to share this high protein peanut butter cluster bar that satisfies my sweet tooth and keeps my macros in line so I can keep losing belly fat.

This is the ultimate high protein low calorie product! It’s so low calorie that one serving won’t break a fast and has the equivalent of 29g of whey protein!

Ingredients for this High Protein Ice Cream Bar
With this recipe you do not need a bunch of crazy ingredients and equipment. I like to keep it simple so anybody can make high protein desserts like this.
- Greek Yogurt
- Powdered Peanut butter (optional)
- Sea Salt
- Vanilla Protein Powder
- Sugar free maple syrup or honey
- Peanuts
- Sugar Free Dark Chocolate
Supplies for High Protein Ice Cream Bar
Most of this stuff you may already have in your kitchen and if not, it is easily attenable. Thats one reason I love this recipe. this is all you need:
- Mixing Bowl
- Whisk
- Popsicle sticks
- Parchment paper
- A freezer
Instructions for this Protein packed Ice Cream
Before you make feel free to swap ingredients that may be more to your liking, you don’t have to follow it to the T. I just hope you enjoy this as much as I did.
- In a mixing bowl, first add 3/4 cup of low-fat Greek yogurt.
- Add 3 TBSP of powdered peanut butter
- Add 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder (I used gold standards vanilla ice cream)
- Add 2 TBSP of liquid sweetener (I used sugar free maple syrup, but honey works well too)
- Wisk well together until it’s the same color and consistency throughout
- On a sheet of parchment paper, add 2-4 big dollops (I used 2) depending on how big you want your bar to be
- Now top it with peanuts (or chocolate chips) and insert popsicle sticks
- Now freeze for 45 minutes
- While that’s freezing melt some sugar free chocolate for topping
- Take out the frozen bars and pour melted chocolate on top and freeze for additional 45 minutes
- Now take it out and enjoy
